So I made the at the beginning of summer and realized that I never posted about it. One of my besties had extra wooden poles left over from her stairs so we made them into a door welcome sign. Doesn't it look so good?

I made a delicious dessert for my future sister-in-laws bridal shower....asphalt pie. It was so super easy and such a hit. These are the ingredients I used and there was plenty of everything that I made two pies. I used mint chocolate chip ice cream in one and cookies and cream ice cream in the other.
First you wait for the ice cream to be melted just enough to mold it into the yummy oreo cookie crust.
Break up the oreos cookies in a ziploc baggie and put them on top, then throw the pie back into the freezer to let it harden up until party time.
Slice, Top with Whipping Cream and Caramel and enjoy!

Okay so I think my sons Dr. Seuss Room is finally finished. Remember this shelf that we made for our daughters nursery? Well we used that same slab of thirty dollar wood and some paint we had left over from his wall to make this beauty. It started out as a little drawing on a piece of paper that I told my husband he should build for me and he did. For some reason the pictures are a little blurry, I couldn't figure out why but the quote says, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." Dr. Seuss. We hung it at a height that my son could grab the book he wanted us to read to him at the end of the night and also hang up his jacket and backpack when he got home from preschool. He LOVES it and I love that I keep catching him bundled up in blankets reading in his bed. What do you think?

I loved Oopsey Daisys idea of using mason jars and turning them into these adorable candy jars. I went out and bought the supplies that same day and made these beauties. Here is the tutorial on how to turn a basic jar into a fantastic treat.
I made some new decorations for my entryway. I'm in love with them and the quote by Oscar Wilde makes me smile every time I walk into the house.
For some reason I must have been holding the camera crooked when I took this because I promise on my wall it looks so different.
